Hydraulic Tree Saw

Our Hydraulic tree saw is utilized for ground level cutting of invasive

tree species, such as hedge and Eastern Red Cedar.

Pastures can be cleared for more productive use, or acreage can be

cleared of undesirable trees for a more aesthetically pleasing area.

The tree saw uses a 28” diameter carbide tipped saw blade

spinning at high speed to saw undesirable trees off flush with the

ground.  The tree saw is most effective on trees that are 5”-12” in

diameter, trees that are normally too large to be processed with the

Forestry Mower.

Sawing these trees off flush with the ground allows the property

owner to do further work on the property with a farm tractor with

minimal risk of tire damage since there are no splinters left sticking

up, such as can be left by a tree shear.

The land can now be mowed with a rotary cutter, (bush hog) since

the stumps are low enough to be passed over by the rotary cutter

without striking the stumps or causing damage to the rotary cutter.

Lakeside Tree Service can then pile the tree debris on site at your

direction, or it can be disposed of off-site.
